Episodic Comedy
Our Episodic Comedy program, in partnership with the Nantucket Film Festival, ran from 2016-2019. This program provided four emerging comedy writers with an immersive residency and workshop experience with our Episodic Comedy Adviser Eric Gilliland. Writers collaborated with professional industry mentors to experience a Writers' Room, hone their craft, develop pilots, and practice pitching. The Episodic Comedy experience culminated in a staged reading of excerpts from all four pilots at the Nantucket Film Festival. In collaboration with White Heron Theatre Company, this event served as a public celebration of writing and storytelling.
Our beloved friend and mentor Eric passed away in 2024. He will always be remembered by our community.
