Screenwriter Sessions was launched in 2021 in collaboration with our friends at the Nantucket Film Festival. These live, interactive online sessions provide intimate conversations with some of the industry's most renowned screenwriters, alongside collaborative writing exercises and peer feedback. The experience is designed to offer screenwriters of all backgrounds an unparalleled opportunity to engage with and learn from the greatest screenwriters in the world.  Participants explore the creative process and the realities of the entertainment industry through personalized insights from celebrated guest speakers such as Charlie Kaufman, Nancy Meyers, Shaka King, Lulu Wang, Sian Heder, Ken Burns, Patty Jenkins, and more.

Designed for anyone interested in writing stories for the screen - from aspiring to emerging to mid-career screenwriters, the program cultivates a vibrant, inclusive community where all voices thrive. Screenwriter Sessions provide a uniquely enriching experience, equipping participants with the tools and inspiration to elevate their storytelling craft.

As the creative explosion in the powerful world of VR progresses, and the technology becomes available to larger audiences, we are starting to see its possibilities as an artistically compelling storytelling medium. Together with META: The Art of Being There we hosted our first Colony program in July 2016 dedicated to exploring narrative storytelling in Virtual Reality and examining the language of writing for this new medium.

In 2017 we partnered with Harmony Labs, Google, Sensorium Works, and Institute of Play on a Virtual Reality Action Lab to create original pieces of VR content intended to combat bullying.
