Our prolific alum, Sarah Adina Smith, just signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios. The last few years have been incredibly productive for Sarah who wrote her feature film “Buster Mal’s Heart” at our October Colony in 2014. She has always been a strong advocate for the work we do, and we of course, will always be a strong advocate for her. She’s a model artist, a creator with a strong voice who’s interested in challenging stories. Keep up the good work, Sarah. We’re looking forward to seeing more of your stories!
